While millions of Americans suffer from various mental disorders, it’s been found that at least one fifth of the population will suffer from some sort of anxiety disorder at some point during their lives. Panic disorders are very common and have recently been featured in the news as more and more celebrities admit to suffering from them. Of course, unhealthy lifestyle choices including drugs and alcohol are likely to make the symptoms of anxiety worse than if one abstained. Regardless of the reason for their anxiety, those suffering are in a considerable amount of pain and should be treated respectfully as they deal with their fears.
