Other people feel nauseous when social anxiety starts to set it. The feeling of nervous butterflies can fill the stomach. This can lead to things like dizziness and some people might notice that the palms of their hands become extremely clammy. As social anxiety can make the heart start to beat faster, a person might even develop flushed cheeks as a result.

Every person suffering from social anxiety might exhibit different symptoms. They might also vary in the degree in which they suffer from these symptoms. Some people might find that they become drenched in sweat caused by the apprehension that they experience. Other people might generally find that they clench up in awkward situations where they find themselves uncomfortable.
